- Carrier scan delays: Sometimes an initial scan gets missed and tracking typically picks back up at the next facility.
- In transit: Tracking can pause for a few days while your package moves between distribution centers.
- Weekends or holidays: Carriers may not scan or move packages on non-business days.
- Weather or high volume: Busy shipping seasons or weather events can temporarily slow things down.
In most cases, tracking will jump back to life once your package hits the next checkpoint.
